NASARAWA STATE DANGEROUS INFECTIOUS DISEASES (EMERGENCY PREVENTION) REGULATIONS 2020

Now therefore, I, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, Governor of Nasarawa State, in the exercise of the plenitude of powers conferred on me in that regard by Public Health Law of Northern Region 1959, and in particular, by Section 8 of the Quarantine Act, Cap Q2 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004, (having regard to the provisions of Sections 2, 3 and 4 of the Quarantine Act, Cap Q2 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004,) and further pursuant to all other enabling laws and powers in that regard, hereby, subject to the provisions of the Constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended), make the following Regulations for the good order, safety, security and public health of the people of Nasarawa State.

PROCLAMATION MADE PURSUANT TO THE NASARAWA STATE DANGEROUS INFECTIOUS DISEASES (EMERGENCY PREVENTION) REGULATIONS 2020, PUBLIC HEALTH LAW OF NORTHERN REGION 1959, SECTION 8 OF THE QUARANTINE ACT, CAP Q2 LAWS OF THE FEDERATION OF NIGERIA 2004, ON THE ENFORCEMENT OF RESTRICTION OF MOVEMENT IN NASARAWA STATE AND RELATED ISSUES THERETO TO CHECK THE SPREAD OF CORONA VIRUS (COVID-19)

EXECUTIVE ORDER FOR THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NASARAWA STATE CHILD’S RIGHT LAW 2005

(Pursuant to Section 5 (2) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 as Amended)

WHEREAS, the safety, security, wellbeing, care, good health and education of a child guarantees his/her successful future towards contributing and participating in building a secure, progressive and civilized society;

AND WHEREAS, available records indicate a sharp increase in the number of out-of-school children in the State, most of whom are victims of the gross violation of the Nasarawa State Child’s Right Law;

FURTHERMORE, pursuant to the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the Child’s Right Law of Nasarawa State 2005 and any other power enabling in that behalf, I, the Governor of Nasarawa State of Nigeria, make the following ORDER; – 

PUBLIC PROCUREMENT LAW

A LAW TO ESTABLISH THE STATE COUNCIL ON PUBLIC PROCUREMENT AND THE BUREAU OF PUBLIC PROCUREMENT AS THE REGULATORY AUTHORITIES RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MONITORING AND OVERSIGHT OF PUBLIC PROCURMEENT, HARMONIZING THE EXISTING GOVERNMENT POLICIES AND PRACTICES BY REGULATING, SETTING STANDARDS AND DEVELOPING THE LEGAL FRAMEWORK AND PROFESSIONAL CAPACITY FOR PUBLIC PROCUREMENT IN NASARAWA STATE AND FOR RELATED MATTERS
