EXECUTIVE ORDER FOR THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NASARAWA STATE CHILD’S RIGHT LAW 2005.
Legal Notice No. 1 of 2020 (Pursuant to Section 5 (2) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 as Amended) WHEREAS, the safety, security, wellbeing, care, good health and education of a child guarantees his/her successful future towards contributing and participating in building a secure, progressive and civilized society; AND WHEREAS, available records indicate a sharp increase in the number of out-of-school children in the State, most of whom are victims of the gross violation of the Nasarawa State Child’s Right Law; FURTHERMORE, pursuant to the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the Child’s Right Law of Nasarawa State 2005 and any other power enabling in that behalf, I, the Governor of Nasarawa State of Nigeria, make the following ORDER
